Tetris is a modular seating system designed to interpret modern living through compositional freedom and functional precision. With a clear architectural language, it explores the relationship between space, volume, and interaction.
The sofa is composed of generously proportioned seats, freely configurable cushions, and integrated storage units, allowing for an endless variety of layouts—from traditional L-shaped formations to open islands and 360° social hubs. Every element has been refined to balance form and function. Wide, low-slung seating volumes provide a relaxed posture, while freely placed backrests enhance adaptability and comfort.
The system’s character is defined by the rhythm of full and empty—solid padded seats contrasted with integrated open compartments or closed storage volumes. These voids can be accessed from above and serve as tables, shelves, or visual interruptions, ensuring every composition maintains both structure and airiness.
The geometry is softened by rounded corners and a consistent height across all elements, which enhances modular cohesion. Meanwhile, subtle design features like the gently inset base or a discreetly elevated plinth provide the illusion of lightness while preserving stability.
